Ice Trail Regulation

1. PLACE AND TIME OF THE TRAIL

1.1. The trail is held on the territory of Yavoriv National Nature Park with a start in the village of Vereshchytsia, Yavoriv district, Lviv region, on February 19, 2024 (Saturday).

1.2. The starting town is located in the village of Vereshchytsia on the territory of the recreation center "Vereshchytsia".

2. TRAIL PROGRAM

Warning! Due to the unpredictable epidemiological situation, in addition to the main scenario of the event, the organizers set alternative scenarios that may take effect closer to the date of the competition (separate starts, starts at any time chosen by the participant, etc.). Alternative scenarios may also include a start in 2 days, so when planning your participation, we recommend counting on the latest possible departure from the competition region in the evening of February 20, 2022. Under any circumstances, the top ITRA contenders for the prize will start at the same time and face it. According to recent practices, it is most likely that participation in competitions will be possible only if athletes have one of the following documents:
- "yellow" or "green" COVID-certificate;
- foreign COVID-certificate;
- document on receiving one dose of vaccine - form 063-O;
- international vaccination certificate;
- negative result of PCR test or rapid test for COVID-19 - valid for 72 hours.

December 17 (Saturday)

07:00 - 09:20 - delivery of starter packs, delivery of things to the storage room.

07:00 - departure of an organized transfer 

08:20 - expected time of arrival of the organized transfer to the starting camp.

09:30 - start of the Ice Trail 45K.

09:40 - start of the Ice Trail Medium 29K distance.

09:50 - start of the Ice Trail Short 13K distance.

11:20 - awarding of the winners of the Ice Trail Short 13K race.

12:20 - closing of the Ice Trail Short 13K distance.

13:10 - awarding of the winners of the Ice Trail Medium 29K race.

15:10 - closing of the Ice Trail Medium 29K distance.

15:30 - awarding of the winners of the Ice Trail 45K race.

18:30 - closing of the Ice Trail 45K and the end of the event.

3. REGISTRATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS

3.1. Registration of festival participants is held no later than 14:00 on December 16, 2022.

3.2. The issuance of starting packages will take place in the starting place according to the competition program.

3.3. Upon receipt of the starter pack, the Athlete must have a Discharge Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) with his own signature, all equipment on the list marked as "mandatory" and an identity document (domestic or foreign). passport, driver's license, Action).

3.4. By signing the Agreement, the Participant confirms its agreement with all clauses of the Agreement and the Regulations.

3.5. At the time of start, the participant must be 18 years old. The participation of athletes under 18 years of age must be agreed with the organizers in addition.

3.6. To participate in the Ice Trail 45K race, a participant must meet at least one of the following requirements:

at least one successful finish in the official running competitions 2020 - 2021 at a distance of at least 40 kilometers with any surface.
In case of non-compliance with one of the above requirements, participation should be discussed with the organizers of the trail.

3.7. To participate in the Ice Trail Medium 29K race, the participant must meet at least one of the following requirements:

at least one successful finish in the official running competitions 2020 - 2021 at a distance of at least 20 kilometers with any surface.
In case of non-compliance with one of the above requirements, participation should be discussed with the organizers of the trail.

3.8. To participate in the Ice Trail Short 13K race, the participant must not meet any additional requirements.

3.9. By registering for the race, the participant thus confirms his agreement with the public offer agreement. Participants do not deny that their personal data (surname, name, date of birth and gender) will be made public in the lists of participants and in the protocols with the results, and photos and videos with their images can be used by organizers to disseminate information about the festival in any -what media.

3.10. Participation in any of the races is associated with the risk of injuries of varying severity, from the most severe, to those that lead to partial incapacity or even death. Realizing this, the participants assume all responsibility for such cases and undertake to immediately stop participating in the race at the slightest suspicion of such situations.

4. REGISTRATION FEE

4.1. To participate in the Ice Trail 45K race, the participant must pay a registration fee:

  • 35 EUR when registering before 31.12.21
  • 40 EUR when registering from 01.01.22 to 31.01.22
  • 45 EUR when registering from 01.02.22 to 11.12.22
  • 55 EUR when registering from 12.12.22 to 15.12.22
  • 65 EUR at registration 16.12.22 until 14:00

4.2. To participate in the Ice Trail Medium 29K race, the participant must pay a registration fee:

  • 30 EUR when registering before 31.12.21
  • 35 EUR when registering from 01.01.22 to 31.01.22
  • 40 EUR when registering from 01.02.22 to 11.12.22
  • 50 EUR when registering from 12.12.22 to 15.12.22
  • 60 EUR at registration 16.12.22 until 14:00

4.3. To participate in the Ice Trail Short 13K race, the participant must pay the registration fee:

  • 22 EUR when registering before 31.12.21
  • 27 EUR when registering from 01.01.22 to 31.01.22
  • 32 EUR when registering from 01.02.22 to 11.12.22
  • 40 EUR when registering from 12.12.22 to 15.12.22
  • 50 EUR at registration 16.12.22 until 14:00

4.4. The participant's starter pack includes:

  • starting number;
  • finisher's medal
  • a memorable gift with the symbols of the competition;
  • chip system maintenance;
  • drinks and food in intermediate camps;
  • souvenirs from the organizers;
  • materials from partners and sponsors;
  • drinks and food at the finish line after the races;
  • photos from races;
  • official video after the event.

4.5. Additionally, the participant can order and pay for:

commemorative finisher's medal - UAH 200;
souvenirs dedicated to the race, the list of which is available for inspection directly during the registration process.
4.6. If a competitor orders a commemorative finisher's medal but fails to cover the distance within the set time limit, the finisher's commemorative medal will not be awarded to that participant and the finisher's commemorative medal fee will not be reimbursed.

4.7. Re-registration for another person is done by sending an application (in any form) to [email protected] and is carried out in different periods on the following terms:

  • Free until 17.11.22 (inclusive)
  • When paying 100 UAH. in the period from 20.01.22 to 11.12.22 (inclusive)
  • When paying 200 UAH. in the period from 12.12.22 to 15.12.22 (inclusive)
  • When paying 300 UAH. 16.12.22 until 14:00

4.8. The distance is changed by sending an application (in any form) to [email protected] and is carried out in different periods on the following terms:

  • Free until 17.11.22 (inclusive)
  • When paying 100 UAH. in the period from 18.11.22 to 15.12.22 (inclusive)
  • When paying 200 UAH. 16.12.22 until 14:00
  • In addition, you must pay the difference in cost between the registration fee paid and the current price on the date of re-registration. If you change the distance to a lower cost - the difference in price is not refundable.

4.9. In case of injury, illness or any other force majeure circumstances that do not allow the registered participant to take part in the competition, the following options are available:

Free transfer registration to another start when providing documents confirming the fact of injury, illness or the occurrence of force majeure until 30.11.22 (inclusive)
Receive compensation in the amount of 50% of the amount paid when providing documents confirming the fact of injury, illness or the occurrence of force majeure until 30.11.22 (inclusive)
4.10. Transfer of registration to other competitions without good reason is done by sending an application (in any form) to [email protected] and possibly no later than 16.12.22 (inclusive). The cost of the service is UAH 300. In addition, you must pay the difference in cost between the registration fee paid and the current price of the registration fee for other competitions on the date of re-registration. If you change the distance to a lower cost - the difference in price is not refundable.

4.11. Participants aged 60 and older, participants in hostilities in the anti-terrorist operation zone, persons with disabilities, as well as residents of Yavoriv district of Lviv region pay 50% of the registration fee. To receive the discount you need to write a letter in any form to the mail of the organizers [email protected].

4.12. The registration fee may be changed due to the unstable economic situation in Ukraine.

4.13. The participant cannot give up part of the starter pack in order to reduce its cost.

5. OVERCOMING RACE OF RACE

5.1. All participants are required to have all the equipment listed at the start of each race as "mandatory", except for those items that will be declared optional by the organizers before the start (based on the latest weather forecasts). Runners must carry all the required equipment on their own from start to finish, on their own or in their backpacks. Volunteers working at a distance may require the participant to provide equipment that is mandatory. After such an inspection, the participant may be subject to penalties in accordance with the terms of the regulations.

5.2. Accidental loss of mandatory equipment or accidental loss of rubbish at a distance is equated with intentional actions and entails the imposition of similar penalties.

5.3. At the start of each race, the participant is obliged to fix the starting number on his outerwear (T-shirt, jacket, jacket) so that it is fully visible. It is forbidden to remove the starting number until the end of the competition.

5.4. For intermediate points on the distances, time limits for its passage are set. Participants who arrive at the intermediate point after the allotted time are automatically removed from the distance and delivered to the starting point by the organizers of the competition. At the same time, the participant is obliged to give his / her start number and chip at the request of the responsible volunteer. If you want to continue to overcome the distance of the race and refuse to deliver to the starting point by the organizers of the competition, the athlete assumes all responsibility and is no longer accompanied and not provided by the organizers of the competition.

5.5. All participants pay attention to the injuries of other participants and are obliged to help those who need help and inform the organizers about the situation, type of injury, location and number of the participant who was injured.

5.6. If a participant needs to stop the competition due to injury or health condition, the participant must immediately inform the organizer of his start number by phone, declared by the organizers as an emergency. Those who do not report their departure from the route may be charged for an unreasonable search campaign.

5.7. Participants should, as far as possible, go the distance at checkpoints.

5.8. The organizer transports the participants to the base camp according to the available vehicles - it is very likely that the waiting time for the evacuation vehicle can be long, so the participant's task is to get to the nearest checkpoint, where he will be provided with first aid and food while waiting to be transported to base camp.

5.9. Participants who want to leave the distance for any reason and who can move without harming their health, do so on their own.

5.10. The organizers reserve the right to cancel or change the race distances due to adverse natural disasters such as tornadoes, earthquakes, forest fires, thunderstorms and lightning, as well as other emergencies in the region of the festival, such as war, terrorist acts and any other events. endangering the safety of participants. In such cases, the amount of the registration fee and any other costs for participation in the trail participants are not reimbursed.

5.11. Some sections of the route are paved with roads and trails where pedestrians and vehicles can be accommodated. There is also the possibility of encountering wild animals.

5.12. The organizers, volunteers, medics and employees of the emergency service have the right to stop, check the health of the participant at any time during the race, before and after the finish and remove the participant from the distance if there is a possibility of danger to his health. or a violation of the rules of the race.

5.13. All participants on the route are bound by the rules of fair play and the absolute prohibition of interference in the marking of the route and the destruction of nature. Violations of rules and unethical behavior include fines or disqualification:

5.13.1. Cutting of part of the path - disqualification in case of reduction of the distance or total height, in all other cases at the discretion of the Chief Judge of the competition.

5.13.2. Lack of water tanks of the required volume (required at the start must be full), isofolia, telephone - disqualification.

5.13.3. Absence of other items of mandatory equipment - a fine of 20 minutes for each missing item of equipment.

5.13.4. The phone is switched off or in flight mode - a fine of 20 minutes.

5.13.5. Refusal to check mandatory equipment - disqualification.

5.13.6. Disposal of garbage over a distance in places not designated for this purpose - disqualification.

5.13.7. Lack of help to a person in need is disqualification.

5.13.8. Receiving assistance from outsiders at a distance - disqualification.

5.13.9. Lack of respect and rude behavior

6. AWARDS

6.1. Winners and prize-winners in the overall standings (three men and three women) are awarded at all distances.

6.2. Men and women in the following age categories are awarded commemorative cups:

40+ years;
50+ years;
60+ years.
6.3. Winners and prize-winners who are absent from the award ceremony lose their awards.

7. ENSURING COMPETITIONS

7.1. In the starting place all participants of the festival are provided with:

  • drinking water;
  • toilets;
  • a place for changing clothes and the possibility of storing personal belongings;
  • doctor on duty and ambulance.

8. CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS

8.1. The organizers reserve the right to change the current regulations at any time in order to ensure the most effective organization of the competition.

8.2. In case of key changes or additions, trail participants will be additionally informed by a message to the e-mail address provided during registration.
